Description

Easy to use, the paint can be applied directly to dry rusty steel surfaces without loose rust layer, oil, or debris; it has strong versatility and excellent physical and chemical properties after the paint film is cured.

Construction technics

1. Sandblast or shot blast the steel to Sa2.5, with a surface roughness of 30-50µm. Alternatively, apply directly to dry, rust-free steel surfaces free of loose rust, oil, or debris.

2. Application methods include roller coating or high-pressure airless spraying. Add the paint to an appropriate amount of solvent (using the A/B ratio specified on the certification), stir evenly, and achieve a viscosity of 40-60µS. Filter through an 80-120 mesh sieve and allow to mature for 30 minutes before application.

3. The surface to be painted should be clean and free of oil, dust, or rust.

4. Before applying the second coat, the first coat should be completely dry. Leave at least 24 hours between coats, achieving a total dry film thickness of approximately 100-120µm.

5. After application, cure at temperatures above 10°C for 7-10 days before use. Curing should be extended if temperatures are below 10°C. During the curing period, proper protection should be provided to prevent damage to the coating caused by rain.

Attention:

1. When thinning, apply small amounts frequently.

2. The substrate temperature must be 3°C above the dew point, and the relative humidity must not exceed 80%. Application should be stopped in the event of windy, sandy weather, rain, snow, fog, or other such conditions, and the uncured coating must be protected to ensure coating quality. Application is not recommended when the temperature drops below 5°C.

3. Suitable for use with our company's various epoxy intermediates, epoxy topcoats, asphalt coatings, acrylic polyurethanes, polyurethanes, aliphatic polyurethanes, chlorinated rubber, and other topcoats.

4. This product is packaged in 25kg iron drums for the main paint and 3kg iron drums for the curing agent.

Storage and transportation:

The effective storage period of the product is 12 months, stored in a cool and ventilated place, storage temperature: 5-30℃. During transportation, prevent cold, sunlight exposure and rain. If the expiration date is exceeded, it can be tested according to the above technical indicators, if the technical requirements are met, it can still be used.

Safety guarding:

The construction site should have good ventilation facilities, and the painter should wear glasses, gloves, masks, etc., to avoid skin contact and inhalation of paint mist. Fire and smoke are strictly prohibited at the construction site.
