Description

This coating has high barrier properties. After film formation, the pigments are arranged in parallel, directional, and overlapping patterns, creating not only a barrier to corrosive media but also a maze-like structure that creates countless twists and turns, thereby achieving corrosion protection. As a result, this product offers excellent sealing, corrosion resistance, and permeability resistance. It also exhibits excellent chemical, water, and abrasion resistance.

Applications

This product is suitable for ships, ports, railway bridges, petroleum, chemical smelting, steel facilities, pipelines, sewage treatment plants, concrete surfaces to protect them from corrosion by corrosive media such as atmosphere, seawater, acid, alkali, oil, salt, and chemical gases.

Construction technics

1. Sandblast or shot blast the steel to Sa2.5, with a surface roughness of 30-50µm.

2. Application methods include roller coating or high-pressure airless spraying. Add the paint to an appropriate amount of solvent (use the A/B ratio specified on the certification) and stir thoroughly to a viscosity of 40-60µS. Filter through an 80-120 mesh sieve and allow to mature for 20 minutes before application.

3. The surface to be painted must be clean and free of oil, dust, rust, etc.

4. Before applying the second coat, the first coat must be completely dry. Leave at least 24 hours between coats, with a total dry film thickness of approximately 120-150µm.

5. After application, allow the paint to stand for 7-10 days, depending on temperature conditions, before use.

Attention:

1. When diluting, apply small amounts frequently.

2. The substrate temperature must be 3°C above the dew point, and the relative humidity must not exceed 80%. Application should be stopped in the event of windy, sandy weather, rain, snow, fog, or other such conditions, and the uncured coating should be protected to ensure coating quality. Application is not recommended when the temperature drops below 5°C.

3. Suitable for use with our company's various epoxy intermediates, epoxy zinc-rich primers, iron-red epoxy rust-resistant primers, acrylic polyurethane topcoats, fluorocarbon topcoats, and other paints.

4. This product is packaged in 25kg iron drums for the main paint and 3kg iron drums for the curing agent.

Storage and transportation:

The effective storage period of the product is 12 months, stored in a cool and ventilated place, storage temperature: 5-30℃. During transportation, prevent cold, sunlight exposure and rain. If the expiration date is exceeded, it can be tested according to the above technical indicators, if the technical requirements are met, it can still be used.

Safety guarding:

The construction site should have good ventilation facilities, and the painter should wear glasses, gloves, masks, etc., to avoid skin contact and inhalation of paint mist. Fire and smoke are strictly prohibited at the construction site.
